Plan the group trip, together

One trip the whole group opens: the plan on a map, the group chat, the costs and the photos. Everyone sees the same thing, the moment it changes.

With Roamer

One trip, holding all of it, for everyone at once.

A Roamer trip holding the people, plans, notes, documents, expenses and photos

Before the trip

Get everyone in, and the plan down

The people on a trip: who's going, who was invited, a Remind button, and Share an invite link

Invite your friends in seconds

Share one link in your group chat. Anyone who taps it can join, say whether they're going, and watch the plan take shape. Roamer shows who's in, and you can remind anyone who hasn't answered.

A stay filled in from a booking PDF: check-in and check-out dates, the address, and the PDF attached

Add bookings from a PDF

Upload a confirmation, or share it to Roamer from your email, and it fills in the dates, place and details. The file stays with the plan, so the check-in time is one tap away.

The itinerary on a map: a flight to Kona in the air, the stay pinned on the coast, and today's plans in order

See every plan on a map

Flights, stays, dinners and activities, in order and pinned where they are, day by day. Directions are a tap away, and Explore suggests tours and things to do nearby.

On the trip

Everyone on the same page, wherever they are

The trip's group chat: a poll about Sunday night, a message about the weather on Mauna Kea, a ticket and photos

Chat, vote and share, in the trip

A full group chat with polls, photos, tickets, GIFs and reactions, right beside the plan. Anything with more than two options becomes a poll, so the answer is a tap instead of a thread.

A flight to Kona with its live status, gates and times, and a delay alert above it

Track flights live

Roamer follows the flights in your plan and alerts you to delays, gate changes and landings, with the latest times on the itinerary.

Live location on the trip map: friends' photos pinned where they are, each with how long ago they updated

Share your location, live

Turn it on for the trip and see where everyone is on the map. It's your choice, it stops when the trip ends, and Roamer keeps only your latest position, never a history. One unlock covers the whole group.

Settle up, and keep the trip

The costs, the photos, and a page for everyone back home

The trip's expenses: the total in Canadian dollars, your share, and who owes you, settled in two payments

Split costs in any currency

Log what you paid in any currency and split it evenly, by share or by item. Roamer shows the totals in your home currency, who owes whom, and settles it in the fewest payments.

The trip's shared album, sorted by day, with a map of where each photo was taken

All the group's photos, in one album

Everyone's photos and videos land in one album as they're taken, sorted by day and pinned on the map where they were taken. Pick the best ones as the trip's highlights.

The trip's web page in a phone's browser: the cover, a Watch the trip button, today's plans and the latest photos

Share the trip with family back home

Send a link to a web page with your plans, your best photos and a short slideshow of the trip. It opens in any browser, no app needed, and never shows your chat or costs.

After every trip

Every trip you take, on your profile

The countries you've been to, your trips and photos from all your travels, on a map, with the trip you were on a year ago today.

A Roamer profile: 7 trips, 6 countries, 49 days and 20 photos, with the countries list, a memory from a year ago and a photo map

And everything else a trip needs

No more screenshots of confirmations, spreadsheets of who owes what, or scrolling back through a chat to find the address.

Shared lists the group can tick off

Packing lists, restaurant shortlists and games to bring, edited by everyone. Private notes are there too, with Trip Pass or Pro.

Every document in one place

Tickets, confirmations, passes and links, filed with the plan they belong to instead of buried in an inbox.

Works without signal

Your itinerary, tickets and documents are stored on your phone, so they open on the ferry, on the trail and at the gate.

See who's actually coming

Everyone answers Going or Can't go, and you get a notification the moment someone joins the trip.

A printable itinerary

The whole plan as a PDF, day by day with a map, to print or send to anyone.

On every phone in the group

iPhone, iPad and Android, so nobody is left out of the plan because of the phone they carry.

We don't sell your data

No advertising, no data brokers. Trip content is visible only to the people you invite. Read the privacy policy.

Your uploads stay yours

You can retrieve a photo or document you uploaded at any time, on any plan, including after a paid plan ends.

Questions

The things people ask before they invite four friends to something.

Is Roamer free?

Planning a trip is free, and so is joining one. Some extras are paid, such as live location, live flight status and private notes: a one-time Trip Pass unlocks them for you on one trip, and Roamer Pro, a yearly subscription, unlocks them on every trip.

Do my friends need the app?

To join the trip and add to it, yes: a free account keeps the trip private to the group, and signing in takes a tap with Apple or Google, or an email address. Family who only want to follow along don't: the trip's web page shows your plans and best photos in any browser.

Can everyone on the trip edit it, or just me?

Everyone you invite can add to the itinerary, log an expense, post in the chat and vote in a poll. Changes appear for the whole group the moment they happen.

Does it split expenses like a dedicated expense app?

Yes. Log what you paid in any currency, split it evenly or your own way, and Roamer works out who owes whom. The difference is that the expenses sit next to the plans they paid for, so you are not keeping two apps for one trip.

Is my location shared all the time?

No. Live location is off until you turn it on for a trip, it stops when the trip ends, and only the people on that trip can see it. Roamer keeps your latest position only, never a history of where you've been.

Does it work without signal?

Your itinerary, tickets and documents are stored on your phone, so they open on the ferry, on the trail and at the gate. Changes sync when you are back online.
